About
A reference library of real, working websites, organised the way you actually build one: whole sites, then pages, then the individual sections.
What this is
Most design galleries show you finished websites. That is useful for about a minute, and then you are scrolling past forty home pages looking for the one thing you actually need.
Made on Web breaks each site into its pages, and each page into its sections, so you can compare one specific thing across many sites at once. If you are designing a pricing page, you want to see 1 pricing pages, not the sites they belong to. Right now the library holds 19 websites, 135 pages and 408 sections.
How sites are chosen
The bar is craft and performance, not spectacle. That means real businesses with something to sell or say, sites that load quickly, and design that would survive a client review. Award-bait with three seconds of loading animation before the headline appears does not make it in, however impressive it is.
The library skews toward the work most people are actually paid to do: landing pages, product sites for physical and digital goods, service businesses, and marketing sites for software.
About the screenshots
Screenshots are captured from publicly available pages and shown here for reference, commentary and comparison. Every site remains the property of its owner, and each entry links to the live site wherever the URL is known.
Captures are dated, and sites change. If you spot one that is out of date or wrong, the down arrow on any card flags it, or you can tell us directly.
Who runs it
Made on Web is operated by Simov Studio LTD, founded by Aleksandar Simov.
