Who we are

Made on Web is operated by Simov Studio LTD, founded by Aleksandar Simov. References to "we" below mean Simov Studio LTD, a company registered in the Republic of Cyprus, which is the data controller for this site.

What we collect

Analytics

We use Rybbit, a privacy-focused analytics tool, self-hosted by us. It records page views, referrers, approximate country, and general device and browser type. It sets no cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not store your IP address or build any profile of you. There is nothing here that identifies you personally, which is why this site has no cookie banner.

Things stored in your browser

Your theme choice, the entries you rate up or down, and anything you save are kept in your browser's own local storage. They stay on your device, are never sent to us, and clearing your browser data removes them.

If you email us or use a form

If you submit a website, report a problem, or subscribe to updates, we receive what you type in: typically an email address, a URL, and your message. We use it to reply and to action the request, and nothing else.

Email subscribers

If you subscribe, your email address is stored with Brevo, who process it on our behalf as our email provider. We use it only to send the updates you asked for. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing removes you.

What we do not do

• No advertising, retargeting or third-party tracking of any kind.
• No selling, renting or sharing your data with anyone for their own purposes.
• No profiling and no automated decisions about you.
• No account is required to use any part of this site.

Legal basis and retention

We are established in Cyprus, so the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies. We rely on legitimate interest for anonymous analytics, which set no cookies and identify nobody, and on your consent for marketing email, which you can withdraw at any time.

Correspondence is kept only as long as it takes to deal with it, and to keep a record of removal requests. Subscriber addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold, object to processing, restrict it, or ask for a portable copy. Because we hold so little, this is usually just your email address. Write to us and we will action it within one month.

You may also complain to a supervisory authority. Ours is the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus, and you may alternatively complain to the authority where you live.

Where your data is processed

This site is hosted on Cloudflare's global network, and screenshots are served from Cloudflare R2. Our analytics are self-hosted. Brevo processes subscriber email addresses within the EU.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept it.
